AS ROMA STATEMENT
Having carefully analysed the TV images relating to the incident and spoken to Erik Lamela, AS Roma has decided not to appeal the three-match ban given to the player by the FIGC's disciplinary panel today.
Erik Lamela wishes to apologise to the fans, his team-mates, the coach and his opponent for this regrettable incident.
